Diet

As you can probably guess by the link you just clicked on, I've made a conscious effort to somewhat control my food intake. I'm on a diet.

Not really a traditional diet, though.

My diet involves eating copious amounts of cheese, meat, fish, Slurpees, and ice cream. Well, I'd probably lose weight quicker if I cut out the Slurpees and ice cream, but I like them far too much to give them up.



The weight has continued to come off! Oct. 6 '02
Despite being off my meat-and-fat diet for over a month now, I've continued to lose weight. As of this afternoon, I weigh 161 lbs. This means that I've lost 14 lbs since I started my diet in July.


I'm off the diet... Aug. 28 '02
Since I have to get up at 5:45am for my new Engineering Co-op job, I haven't been able to get up early enough to make eggs, so I'm not officially off of the meat-and-fat diet. I've gained 4 lbs in the last couple days since I got off the meat-and-fat diet... presumably I've gained water.


The diet's working! Aug. 19 '02
Yep, so far so good. A month after I started keeping track of what I eat and reduced my carb intake, I've dropped 10 lbs, and it's noticeable. I'm thrilled.
